Retention & Expansion

We make it our business to ensure that your business has what it needs to find success in the City of Forney. Forney EDC offers you limitless advantages to grow your business, connect with new partners, industry leaders, and peers, as well as the resources to retain key personnel and provide advanced training.

Forney EDC hosts forums and events for our growing business community throughout the year, so you can develop new relationships and networks. These include our informative annual luncheon at Mustang Creek Business Park, Forney Industry Retention Meetings (FIRM) for major industrial employers, and small business events in partnership with the TVCC Small Business Development Center.

Expansion Resources

Getting your business expansion project off the ground can be challenging, especially for large companies. Forney EDC can help facilitate incentives and put you in touch with the right partners at the State of Texas, Texas Workforce Commission,  utility providers, and other local entities for the tools and information you need.

One of the most valuable assets is a company’s workforce and the ability to attract and retain top-tier talent is critical to every business. One-half of the equation is the livability quotient and the many advantages the City of Forney offers its residents, such as STAR Transit (area public transit).

The second half is the opportunity to help employees advance their skills and training through special workforce programs and funding through partners such as Workforce Solutions of North Central Texas and the TVCC Small Business Development Center. As a valuable member of Forney’s economy, we want to best serve you and your business.
