Forney EDC Partners with Trinity Valley SBDC for Small Business Advising

The Forney Economic Development Corporation is partnering with the Trinity Valley Small Business Development Center to expand and strengthen small business support in Forney and offer hands‑on coaching for local owners and entrepreneurs.

The Trinity Valley SBDC, working in coordination with the State of Texas and Trinity Valley Community College, provides comprehensive technical and practical assistance to help small businesses grow and succeed.

Community members seeking business coaching can reserve time with SBDC advisor Miranda Perry on Wednesdays at the Forney EDC office, 210 S. Bois D’Arc St. Perry is a graduate student in finance and economics and brings personal experience from growing up in a family with a small business and later opening her own business in downtown Athens. Her work has helped entrepreneurs secure the financing they need to move forward.
