We are excited to announce a project that will make Forney an even more exciting destination and will give people across the region another reason to visit Forney.
Following approval by the Forney Economic Development Corporation, the Forney City Council, on May 13, 2025, approved an agreement with Forney Legacy Holdings, LLC, to bring EVO Entertainment to Forney with a development on nine acres, including a 75,000 square foot building, by U.S. Highway 80 and North Gateway Boulevard. This family entertainment center will feature a movie theater, laser tag, bumper cars, rock climbing, games and more.
This project is expected to result in a minimum of 35 full-time jobs and many more part-time jobs, while creating new entertainment options for Forney and surrounding communities.
