The Forney Economic Development Corporation has selected Latham Bakery as the January 2026 Business of the Month.
Latham Bakery, an FEDC partner, opened its first location nine years ago in Forney, at 106 E. Main St., and has a staff of 15 employees. It now has three other locations too.
The bakery serves coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, quiches, cupcakes, cheesecakes, salads, grilled sandwiches, flatbread paninis and more. According to owner Malinda Latham, some of the most popular items are the chicken salad sandwich and the blueberry scone.
The bakery also provides catering trays and custom cakes.
