Ice cream shop Mix It Up Creamery is the Forney Economic Development Corporation Business of the Month for April 2026.
Mix It Up Creamery, 311 Marketplace Boulevard, opened in March 2023. Its ice cream flavors include Oregon strawberry, caramel toffee crunch, peaches and cream and white chocolate raspberry, among many others.
The menu also includes many combinations, or “mixations,” such as the Jack-Rabbit, which pairs cookies-and-cream-flavored ice cream in a waffle bowl with Oreos and a chocolate-drizzle topping. Another “mixation” is the Crunchtastrophe, which combines caramel toffee crunch ice cream with brownie bites and caramel sauce in a waffle bowl.
Other snacks on the menu include cheesecake bites, soda floats, triple chocolate brownie squares, ultimate chocolate chip cookies and Grandma Joy’s Special Apple Pie, which is made in-house.
