The City of Forney offers a built-in customer base with a primary trade area of over 65,771 people (RSI May 2020) with an annual demand of over $876 million (Esri 2019) including retail leakage at over $431 million for major retailers, developers, and small shops and boutiques.  This demand will only continue to grow as the Forney area adds approximately 6,000 new residents per year. Retailers throughout the Forney area and Kaufman County benefit from high traffic counts provided by U.S. Highway 80 and Interstate 20, along with the city’s rising number of households and new home starts.

Mustang Crossing

Anchored by Walmart and Lowe’s Home Improvement and located just off Highway 80 and FM 548, Mustang Crossing is a successful retail and restaurant development in Forney that reports on average over $150 million in annual retail sales. Mustang Crossing tenants include Chili’s, Anytime Fitness, Chick-fill-A, Walgreens, AutoZone, Starbucks, AMC Theatres, and Chase Bank.

Gateway

Forney Marketplace

With traffic counts along U.S. Highway 80 averaging 65,000+ and VPD and surrounded by growing residential neighborhoods, Forney Marketplace has 25 acres adjacent to the site and 40 acres behind the site with three convenient entry points and a 110,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace anchor store. Forney Marketplace is suitable for retail (including big box), dining (fast, casual, or sit-down), and small strip centers. The 40-acre site behind the Kroger is accessible via U.S. 80 frontage road and Trailhouse Lane and is available for retail, entertainment, restaurant pad sites, mixed-use office, and hospitality.

U.S. Hwy 80/FM 548 Commercial Corridor

This ALDI-anchored center is located on the southwest quadrant of FM 548 and Ridgecrest Road. Liberty Hill @ U.S. Hwy 80 & FM 688
