Succeed with Social Media - Strategies to Maximize Your Online Presence

Tracy Irby - TVCC Small Business Development Center

June 30, 2016

For Immediate Release

The Forney Chamber of Commerce, Forney Economic Development Corp and TVCC Small Business Development Center are co-sponsoring a three session workshop designed to increase the effectiveness of your business social media presence.  Social media may be the single most important medium for reaching modern consumers.  Starting July 14 at Noon, we will offer three sessions (one per week) for one hour in the upstairs City Hall Conference Room at 101 E. Main St.  Lunch will be provided each week by the EDC or American National Bank.

Tracy Irby, Senior Business Advisor at the SBDC will lead the workshop.  Tracy is a serial entrepreneur, promotes her own business interests on the Internet, and has counseled many, many businesses on Social Media Effectiveness.  As part of this workshop, she will visit your business and offer direct and specific suggestions to improve your social media effectiveness.

Class dates are July 14, 21 and 28.  This class is limited to ten participants who are all existing businesses who have at least started their online presence.  July 8 is our expected registration deadline. Call (903) 675-7403 for information and to register. Cost is only $25.00.  Paid registration by July 8th is the only way to assure a spot.  Because of restrictions by our college, we are limited to checks.  No credit cards can be processed. Three informative sessions, all materials, lunch, and one on one consulting at your office is a super bargain.

The Small Business Development Center is a program of the Small Business Administration, the State of Texas and Trinity Valley Community College providing one on one business consulting on a free and confidential basis. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, all opinions, conclusions or recommendations expressed are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the SBA.
