The City of Forney is excited to announce that soon after the New Year, the Latham Bakery & Deli will become the newest tenant at 106 E. Main St. in Downtown Forney. The bakery will serve sandwiches, quiche, specialty coffee and an assortment of brownies, cookie bars and artisanal breads. The bakery will also specialize in custom cakes for all occasions in a variety of flavors such as carrot, banana pecan, Italian cream, chocolate, red velvet, lemon, strawberry and much more!

Forney EDC Executive Director Warren Ketteman said, “I was very pleased when Mrs. Latham approached the EDC about leasing our property at 106 E. Main. Her location in Downtown Forney will continue to spur downtown revitalization and bring new and unique dining options to our community.”

Family-owned and operated since 2007, the Latham Bakery has operated as a package wholesale business and is now expanding to a location to serve the general public. The bakery has sold their products at more than 15 independently-owned locations across the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Building renovations are currently underway at the location and once open, the bakery plans to hold hours Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about Latham Bakery, please visit www.lathambakery.com
