Forney EDC Recognized by the Texas Economic Development Council

FORNEY, TX – The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) recently recognized the Forney Economic Development Corporation (EDC) during their 2016 mid-year conference earlier this week. The Forney EDC was presented with a Certificate of Achievement for Economic Excellence by Charlton Schwab, President/CEO of the TEDC. The Economic Excellence Recognition Program aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of economic development professionals and volunteers throughout the state.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized by the TEDC and I believe this is only the beginning,” said Forney Economic Development Director, Warren Ketteman. “I am proud of what our staff has accomplished and know that we will continue to attract high-end retail, quality employment and support infrastructure.”
