Forney's growing population provides a built-in healthcare customer base of young families and senior citizens with a median household income of $84,131*.  The Forney Medical Plaza, a modern, state-of-the-art facility anchored by a Baylor Scott & White Emergency Center with helipad provides over 80,000 square feet of “Class A” medical offices and facilities.  Current tenants include pediatrics, family medicine, women’s health, cardiology, dermatology, ENT, podiatry and imaging services, with additional spaces available.  Additional sites for healthcare services are available throughout the City of Forney.  Further, Forney and the surrounding areas contain a large workforce base in the medical sector.  Currently, the Forney Economic Development Corporation offers financial incentives to new and expanding medical offices locating within the community.  For more information on this incentive program, click here

Forney is also home to a Care United, a wellness center, women's center, orthodontists, dozens of dentists, and many pharmacies.  Due to the exponential growth in and around Forney, healthcare providers who choose to locate in Forney can depend on the prospect of continued population growth and solid demographics to sustain their practices.

Forney's population continues to grow both numerically and with those who work in the health care sector. The Forney Economic Development Corporation collects data each month on the employment skills of new Forney residents. On average, approximately eleven new health care sector employees move to Forney every month. While many of these people may work in other cities, this statistic is testimony to the growing skilled labor pool that is available to new health care facilities and medical offices that choose to locate in Forney.
