Mr. Frankie L. Burns, a partner for the accounting firm of Auerbach, Albert & Gold, LC, serves as treasurer for the Forney Economic Development Corporation. He has been a board member since 2004. He is a native of the east Texas town of Henderson. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin in 1988 with a BA in Finance, Mr. Burns began his professional career in banking. He quickly moved into the public accounting industry and has succeeded there for nearly twenty years. His firm provides accounting and business planning services to a wide variety of clients, focusing on design and implementation of computerized solutions tailored to their business. Mr. Burns is an avid outdoorsman and a founding member of the Forney Christian Anglers Association. He and his wife of nineteen years, Jo Nan, have two children, Lucy and Graham. He serves as a Sunday School teacher and finance committee member of the First Baptist Church of Forney. “I hope to see our city grow in economic value while retaining it’s high quality of life,” states Frank. “I want to see the city shine as I know it can.”
