Forney provides a primary trade area of 50,000 people fueled with an annual demand of $370 million* for new retail and restaurant options.  By 2022, Forney’s primary trade area is anticipated to be over 70,000 people, providing greater opportunity for new retail services.  Current “big box” retailers who call Forney home include Kroger Marketplace, Walmart and Lowe’s.  Below is a list of some of Forney’s major retail development opportunities. 

Mustang Crossing 

Forney's well-established retail power center since 2005 is anchored by Walmart and Lowe's.  Chili's, Anytime Fitness, Chick-fil-A, Walgreens, Autozone, Starbucks, and many more retailers live here.
